The 230 Fifth Avenue New York MarketCenter™ is managed by GFP Real Estate, one of the largest independent full service real estate firms in the United States. Built in 1914, this 20 story building was formerly known as the “Lighting Building”. In the early 1990’s, the building was converted into a wholesale showroom building for the home industries, which is now known as The New York MarketCenter™.
Located in the landmarked Madison Square Park District and just steps away from the historic Flatiron District, 230 Fifth Avenue is home to over 200 showrooms housing a diverse collection of product lines and categories. These include: Home Textiles, Fine Gifts, Tabletop, Bed and Bath Linens, Kitchen, Furniture, Window Treatments, Stationery, Personal Care, Loungewear, Decorative Accessories, Home Furnishings, Gourmet, Collectibles, Holiday, Toys, Dolls and Plush, Architectural Products, Art, General Merchandise and more.
The 230 Fifth Avenue New York MarketCenter™ is situated on Fifth Avenue between 26th and 27th Streets, north of Madison Square Park.
The building is accessible by car, subway, bus, and taxicab. The subways that reach the building are the W, the R and the #6 subways (at 23rd or 28th Street stops), the NJ Path and the F and M (at 23rd Street & 6th Avenue or 33rd & 6th Avenue), and by the M2, M3, and M5 buses which travel south on Fifth Avenue.
When driving to the city to shop at 230 Fifth Avenue, you may park at many parking garages within a few blocks of the building. You’ll find most of these on side streets between Fifth Avenue and Broadway, and on 6th Avenue between 25th and 26th Streets.

Violet joined 230 Fifth Avenue in 2021 as an executive assistant, where she assists with leases, reports, and budgets; shows showrooms spaces to potential tenants; manages and tracks collections; and facilitates communications between tenants, vendors, and office management. Cauchi studied business management in New York, is a licensed real estate salesperson, and holds certificates in property management, construction project management, commercial real estate and title closings, respectively.

Jeffrey LeStyne began his career at 230 Fifth Avenue in March of 2019 as building superintendent. Mr. LeStyne is certified in electric, plumbing, locksmithing, and universal refrigeration. He is also certified by the city of New York for fire life safety, sprinklers, standpipes, and multi-zone systems.
